We look forward to hearing from you.
We are fans of the newer digital offerings from Shure (such as ULX-D and Axient) and Sennheiser (EW-DX), and there are some great reasons why.
These microphone systems not only sound great, are less prone to interference and dropouts (and as a result are super reliable) but they utilize rechargeable battery packs that last a full day and can tell you battery life down to the minute.
Then when you need to recharge, you simply drop the mics or beltpacks straight into the charger without having to remove the battery and then after a short time you are ready to go again.
We love the amount of money that can be saved by avoiding single use AA batteries (not to mention the environmental impact) which makes the rechargeable batteries and chargers well worth the initial investment.
Other features such as cascading of Antenna (RF) cable from a dual or quad unit to the next can in some cases eliminate the need for an RF Distro, as well as Encryption, which can ensure that the transmitted radio signal is not able to be picked up by a rogue receiver on the same frequency, thus maintaining privacy and confidentiality.

Any wireless mic will do, right? Well.. not quite.
With the environment becoming more and more crowded due to the sheer number of devices occupying the radio waves it’s more important than ever to properly plan out a purchase or upgrade for Wireless Microphones or In-Ear Monitoring (IEM) systems.
Not only do we need to consider the existing Radio Frequency (RF) environment and environmental sources, but also ensuring that our own systems play nicely together, not causing interference within the building.
Fortunately, with newer digital technologies becoming commonplace and more affordable, many of these problems can be mitigated by choosing quality equipment from the outset, that is installed and setup correctly. This is an area where you do get what you pay for.
This should be the first step, so the systems will actually work without dropouts or interference. Then we can consider creative and practical choices such as handhelds vs beltpacks, microphone capsules, patterns and the like.
If you have questions about Wireless Microphones or IEMs we’d love to hear from you. We can help you design a quality system to meet your specific needs and that works in your environment.

Is it possible for my wireless microphones to work in multiple separate rooms?
What if I want my IEM beltpacks to work in multiple spaces, such as an auditorium as well as a distant dressing room?
What if I want to extend the range of my wireless microphones beyond their usual range? Say in a convention centre or very large building? Or even both indoors and outdoors?
What if I want to hide the antennas for my wireless systems so they don't look out of place?
Well, we have good news. All of these things are possible.
With proper antenna distribution or antenna combining using purpose designed equipment such as that from RF Venue, all of these things are well within reach, even for high channel count systems. You can even get architectural antennas that are no more conspicuous than a Wi-fi access point!
Covering multiple spaces, across large distances is a cinch with proper system design using quality equipment that is deployed and set up correctly.
If this is something you need in your venue, contact us today to discuss your specific application with one of our team.
